Product design: Recycle toy Robot

The idea of the project was to develop a product(in this case a toy) using recycle artifacts. Not only the toy was important but the ability to create the whole experience of it through design. A logo was develop base on the design we were going to develop. A name for the product was a most. 

The first part to create the symbol to be integrated with the logotype. The first idea used the form of the toy inside a circle The idea of keeping the ambient "green" was develop by creating a silhouette of a leaf.  

This was a second idea. And it had a friendly appearance which was important because of the nature of the product. As a toy, the product is meant to be friendly. The idea of a leaf was kept to give it the appearance of a face.    

This was a simple one using only the eyes of the robot. The leaf then created the appearance of a city. The message is that through recycle like this robot we keep our cities green

After the symbol was created the second part was to give a name to the Toy. The name was base upon the concept of the robot which is R for Recycle and Tube, cause the robot was basically created from PVC tubes.

As for a promotional item a T-shirt was develop. The design was simple so it could be printed at low cost in silkscreen process. Also the possible colors for the T-shirt where included.

Then as for another promotional item a wallpapers was created with the same design concept use in the others to help create the feeling of a brand.

After everything was done a poster was created using some information . A slogan was created which in English means: "Because recycle if fun".
